You may have purchased solar lights for your garden or considered other cost efficient solar powered lights, but do you realize the market for solar products is growing rapidly?

Unfortunately the environment is evolving so we all have to do our bit to ensure we protect the planet. Changing several of your energy powered products to solar powered products will be a major jump in the right direction!

What sort of products can you buy?

My first solar powered item was a solar charger for my electric engine on my boat. I loved it…my battery never lasted very long so the charger ensured it was always fresh when i went along to take it out. In reality I’ve only ever purchased solar powered items for cost reasons but as I get older I’m becoming greatly aware of the need for us all to use solar energy as an alternative energy source.

Garden items

Lights – These are fantastic and takes minutes to put together. I don’t think solar powered lighting is as powerful as electrically wired lights but they create a lovely atmosphere in your garden. I’ve got a solar powered security light; when the motion sensor is activated the garden is lit up very adequately.

Features – You can find some gorgeous garden features for instance fountains and ornamental lights.

Pumps – Perfect for ponds

House

Solar power panels – provide a very popular alternative heating solution. You can also buy solar panels that power things such as charges and other appliances.

Solar Gifts

A solar powered gift is not probably something you could have considered getting for somebody, but such a lovely change! The gift that someone actually uses is a gift well chosen! We all need power, we all have appliances and gadgets that we need to charge so a solar gift is likely to make a great present. You can even buy models such as cars and helicopters.

Camping equipment and accessories

Accessories like solar torches and hot water heaters are invaluable.
